Purpose:
This is the first meeting of the Maryland Language Advisory Board. The Maryland Language Advisory Board is a group of representatives from State agencies that are taking the lead in implementing HB 1473. HB 1473 requires State agencies to update their Language Access Plans to make information about government services accessible to people with Limited English Proficiency and people with disabilities. The meeting is open to the public. Please make ADA accommodations and interpreter requests at least 2 weeks before the meeting.
