Director of Interfaith Outreach for Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives Receives Women of Leadership & Excellence Award
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives today announced Jennifer Gray, Director of Interfaith Outreach, has received Women Leadership Magazine USA’s Women of Leadership & Excellence Award. The award was presented in a ceremony during the Women of Power Conference & Awards Luncheon 2018, hosted by Women Leadership Magazine USA. This year’s awardees of the Women of Leadership & Excellence Award were selected from across the nation for embodying the core characteristics of leadership: strength, grace, intelligence, and decisiveness.
“Congratulations to Jennifer Gray on receiving this extraordinary honor – a testament to her continued dedication to bringing together people of all faith backgrounds to find common ground and address issues important to Marylanders,” said Steve McAdams, Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives. “We are pleased to be comprised of a team of incredibly talented and accomplished individuals committed to changing our communities for the better.”
As Director of Interfaith Outreach for the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, Jennifer has worked to engage faith leaders from around the state to collaborate on addressing issues important to Maryland communities and to organize notable events such as the Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast, the International Women’s Day Forum, and the upcoming Interfaith Domestic Violence Conference, among other events.
