Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives Launches GOCI TV – Monthly Impact Series

70,000 Marylanders Connected with State Resources

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives (GOCI) today launched GOCI TV – Monthly Impact. Every month, the video will release how the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives changes Maryland for the better in collaboration with over a hundred partners across the state. GOCI serves as the community outreach arm for the Hogan-Rutherford Administration.

“We are proud to officially launch GOCI TV in an effort to amplify our efforts to share the resources and services available to Marylanders and alert the administration of real-time needs across our state, while celebrating the spirit of volunteerism and diversity,” said Steven McAdams, Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives. “As Governor Hogan’s community outreach arm attending or hosting more than 700 events every year, we are excited to show our work through colorful visuals and videos.”

The first episode of GOCI TV summarizes the positive impacts made by ethnic commissions and offices under the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives throughout 2019.
