Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism Announces Volunteer Appreciation Night at Camden Yards
Annapolis, MD –The Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism today announced Volunteer Appreciation Night at Camden Yards. In celebration of Volunteer Appreciation Night held on April 24, the Baltimore Orioles have provided 1,000 free tickets for the baseball game that evening for Maryland volunteers, as part of a partnership between the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism and the Orioles Charitable Foundation. This year marks the 3rd year of the program.
“We are extremely grateful for the longstanding partnership with the Baltimore Orioles, providing a significant opportunity to recognize and thank Maryland’s many volunteers for their service and dedication to changing Maryland for the better,” said Van Brooks, Director of the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism. “Events like Volunteer Appreciation Night not only shows appreciation for the continued contributions of our volunteers, but also provide opportunities for volunteers to build fellowship and discuss new partnerships.”
Tickets will be made available at participating volunteer centers, and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. To request tickets, volunteers must contact one of the participating local volunteer centers, listed below:
