Governor Hogan’s Veteran Service Specialist Program

The Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives participates in the Governor Hogan’s Veteran Service Specialist Program (VSS Program) run by the Maryland Department of Veteran Affairs to “provide general information to State employees who have served in the military or who have family members who have served in the military with information on veteran-related resources.” To learn more about the program, please visit the Maryland Department of Veteran Affairs Outreach and Advocacy Program website.

The Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Services Specialist (VSS) Program in State Government is hosting a veteran and military-connected information fair for VSS Program liaisons and their guests who are state government employees who have served or who have family members who have served.

The event will feature brief remarks and several hours of networking and learning about resources available to veterans and their families in Maryland. Snacks will be provided. The goal is to have at least 30 resource providers.

Plenty of free parking is available. A government-issued ID is required for all attendees and resource providers.
