Commission on the Future of the Pikesville Armory

In September 2017, Governor Hogan issued Executive Order 01.01.2017.20, officially establishing the Commission on the Future of the Pikesville Armory.  The Commission’s purpose  is to consult with Pikesville community members and other persons with relevant expertise on future uses for the Pikesville Armory.

Built in 1903, the Pikesville Armory was part of the National Guard’s 20th Century reorganization and expansion. It is the second oldest armory in the state of Maryland and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
